***AP Biology Thread 2015-2016***

@Lebronjamesisbad How do you know they throw out 12 questions? I thought those questions missing from the practice exams were just taken out by collegeboard to reuse

@SAT4Breakfast O I didn’t know that sry, Idk I just heard a lot of rumors of experimental questions being thrown out on this thread, so that was my hope cuz I completely failed the exam lol, does a 52/69 and 26/41 even have a chance at a 5?

@Lebronjamesisbad I think that would be a 4.

Yeah Ik lol, I screwed up bad

i wish they took some of the FRQ’s out instead of the mc. that would help me out a lot

Man, I hope the curve is larger this year, usually lots of ccers get fives, and we all mostly felt the same way about the exam, so hopefully!

Wait I saw someone on last years thread who didn’t answer two questions and still got a five, so maybe we have hope!

Wait so do they throw out 11 questions or not…

@BOBROSS I don’t think so

@BOBROSS I heard they do throw out 10 questions but i think if u got them right, it still doesn’t count.

they don’t throw out any questions. they just curve it according to my ap bio teacher

wait so even if you got those questions right you won’t get any points? dang it

@BOBROSS
OK, so on threads for AP Bio on other sites, they’re saying the same thing with 10 experimental questions being on the exam and other students in my school that took the exam that don’t use this website are saying the same thing, so I guess they are? It would make sense though because they always put in experimental questions for my state’s EOCs, but its just a really hopeful rumor right now. Crossing my fingers! lol

Wait so I pretty much wasted my 10 on ten of the MC’s??? Guys I’m pretty sure this experimental thing is just a rumor, the only time I’ve heard of experimental questions is on a whole SECTION of a SAT, so that way it doesn’t really affect your score at all. With doing it on the AP, you could be spending excess time on a question that won’t even be graded, so that wouldn’t be fair and would be illogical. 99.999% sure its a rumor.

@snavea, but do u still get credit for getting them Rt?

you dont get credit for experimental questions on any test im screwed…

Because the test is now only out of 58 questions, wrong answers count more negatively… I wish it was out of 69 questions like it says on this website http://apcalculator.com/calculator/biology.php

My AP Chem teacher last year mentioned how there were around 10 experimental questions on the AP Chem Exam, plus other AP bio students are saying the same thing about the bio exam.
Yeah but if you missed experimental questions, I suppose that helps you since you have less wrong now.

But @Bse15578 what if they were really easy ones that u got Rt?

@Lebronjamesisbad Thats what im saying dude. We could have got screwed.
