I'm a high-ranked high school junior, lettering in two varsity sports as well as sports outside of school, and I have many leadership positions within clubs and classes (yearbook, NHS, ENG). My PSAT scores will hopefully be within National Merit and I'm taking the SAT in December. I live in Florida and I'm dead-set on going to UC Berkeley, Duke, Vanderbilt, or UVA.

Problem is, I have a C in AP calc.

I've only gotten two B's before this and my GPA this year is a 4.6. Calc is bringing me down, and frankly, I just don't get it. I'm really afraid that this class will be a deciding factor on my acceptance/rejection from my dream schools. Do you think I should just drop the class all together, and stick it out and give it everything I have?

Sorry if this sounds dumb. I'm frantically writing this while watching AP Calc youtube videos online....
