Ap Calc

I am confused by my school's' math courses. My math classes go.

Honors Algebra
Honors Geometry
Advanced Algebra and Trig.
Ap Calc BC!!!

Can I go from having no Calc. before to Ap calc. BC?

P.S. I am not a big math person

Are you sure there's no Pre-Calc? Because practically every school I know makes you take Pre-Calc before Calculus.

I am 100% sure. There is only a precal course for non honors.

Trig is majorly Pre-calculus and you have that in AlgebraII/Trig.

Yeah you don't really need Pre-Calculus to go into Calculus, like people said before me a lot of it is Trigonometry and Functions, which are covered by your other courses.

As for the BC part, I'm also pretty sure that the BC is the same as Calc AB but it covers more.

Thanks, I am just worried that it will be to much math!

you will be fine. my school never showed us derivatives, and had one small unit on limits before they thrusted us into BC clac. your teacher will teach you what you need to know because s/he will know what you ahve and have not learned so far in highschool.

take an intro to calc class at your local CC the summer before if you are that worried.

also, there is no point in taking calc if it isnt ap calc...that is why only AP is offered
