AP Calculus AB 2015 Thread

@nickyd123 yes I got the same thing

What did you guys get for that differentials question where it was approximate f(1.8) using the line tangent at f(2) or something like that?

Yeah I got 40/8 which =5

@RHSclassof16 I got 6

Regarding the inverse problem, did you guys remember that f^-1(x) is NOT 1/f(x). I’m 99% sure I got the problem right and my answer is different than most of the ones in this thread.

Ok, and for the one that was like (cos(x+0.0001)-cos(x) / 0.00001 did anyone else get the graph that was just a constant 1? Kinda guess on that one lol

It goes 1/f’(f inverse (X)) I don’t remember what my answer was.

How did you guys get 7600 for the RRAM? I somehow got 8100?

Was the inverse 1/6

I got 7600.

@nickyd123 scroll up, other people said -sinx (D, I think)

@RHSclassof16 that’s what I did and I got 1/51

@RHSclassof16 for the inverse one I mean

I actually never learned the formula in class. I think its easier to just remember that f^-1(x)=g(x) is the same thing as f(g(x))=x which is pretty easy to take the derivative of.

I don’t remember what the answer was but it went like 1/f’(finverse(4)) became 1/f’(1) and the answer was whatever that was.

thank you!

@Batmen My teacher taught us both. I use to g(x) method personally but I just said f inverse so I didn’t have to explain it on here.

exactly! the 0 part has nothing to do with it because the interval was open.

@Javacash01 I’m like 150% positive it was a.

Did anyone remember part c from number 2?
