AP Calculus AB & BC 2013-2014

You guys don’t get it…LIVE your life!! Don’t worry about what already happened…Move on…If you have another test, prepare for THAT, don’t fret about what you can not control!! That has been my point! And…to decimation…one of your posts: “Accepted (computer engineering). 31 ACT, 2100 SAT, 3.53 GPA (UW), FL, Black male, swaggy extracurriculars and lots of leadership. Good luck to you all and congrats to those who were accepted!” Ummm MIT is NOT your safety school…nor based on all your posts, are you the type of humble students who attend the Institute. Good luck in your future endeavors

@mom4evr I must admit it is a bit difficult to live our lives in the middle of AP week. You know, a week with standardized tests being distributed across the world every single school day?

I think what you have to understand is that we’re not looking for advice; you can speak as an “outsider”, but that very same status does not warrant an appropriate empathy. The natural thing to do after such a test is worry; to tell us different will not change how we feel.

what was the answer to the logistic differential equation with the zoo and that you had to find the maximum rate?

About when will the FRQ solutions be up?

@mom4evr would you like some cheese with those ass burgers?

Also,
dA = L(dW) + W(dL)

L = 50
W = 20

dL = -1
dW = 2

45(2) + 30(-1) = 60

You’re right. I must have mixed up dL and dW

@nearea The front of the FRQ booklet says in two days, so I guess sometime Friday but I’m not sure what time exactly

capitalamerica…I get it…I understand, but what I’m trying to get across to all of you is that worrying about what already happened is a waste of your energy…make it productive…what occurred in the past you CAN NOT control…work to what you can control NOW!!!

What do you guys think the curve of this 2014 Calc AB Exam will be ?
Do you all think that the level of this exam was average, and thus the range will be 70+ ?
Would like to hear opinions.

@mom4ever NEWS FLASH I GOT INTO MIT TOO. You know what’s really a waste of time? Trying to convince random high schoolers on the internet not to talk about math…

The FRQ’s should be posted at 4:00pm on Friday.

On grass clippings for the BC exam, would they take off points if I put “t” in terms of seconds for parts c and d?.. All thanks to physics C…

@icyhotgel I think they would only take off a point for one section, not for making the same mistake twice

Do you guys think the curve will still be like 70+ or it would be 80+ like the person who posted on this thread said ?

omgomg can 80+ actually happen??? has it happened in the past? uh-oh.

@mom4evr‌
Honestly, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to learn from your mistakes. Maybe I care less about the exam results itself and more about learning from what I missed.
Don’t you dare try to own your children’s achievements as your own. You did nothing.

Also, an ad hominem tangent here, but this is irritating me beyond belief: what is with middle-aged people and excessive use of capitalization in posts?

I know, right?, hope the curve is just 70+ to make life much easier.

Are we talking about 70+% or 70+ composite? D:

how about we stop with the hostility and just discuss questions…

for the related rates one where you had to find the rate of the area, did the t=5 affect the problem at all?

What did you think was difficult about the 2nd FRQ about volumes? I personally didn’t find that one that hard but a lot of people seemed to think it was. Maybe I did it wrong?

the 2nd frq was pretty straight forward
