AP Calculus AB & BC 2013-2014

FRQs are always a heck of a lot harder though :/. Hate the Taylor FRQs.

I’m doing AB (don’t tease I wanted to do BC, school doesn’t have…), I feel so nervous and unprepared even though I get like high 80’s on practice exams to stupid mistakes.

If you are getting high 80’s, you are OKAY! I am over here getting 65-73 on them all. I am either barely below a 5 or barely above a 5! So I should be the nervous one on this post! I know I’ve got this though! I always do better in the real thing and I understand what I have been missing, so…
FINGERS CROSSED

Yeah that’s true, I always find the real exam you’re more focused and do less mistakes. We’ll both rock it! :D

You doing AB/BC?

Aren’t the FRQ’s usually similiar topics to the previous ones?

good luck all tommorow! you ABers are too lucky :stuck_out_tongue: and whats up kingofxbox its boss from the chem chat yesterday haha

Yeah they are similar. The only thing I studied was FRQs and I got a 5 on the AB test.

Hey boss! Ready for tomorrow? :)

I’m doing AB.

And just a tip, I looked on Collegeboard at the FRQ from the previous years, and they seem to have A LOT of similar questions with just different numbers. So it might be beneficial to just scan through to have a basic idea on what may be on it.

Like area between 2 curves, rotation around x-axis, and cross section is on like every one!

AB here, I’m pretty certain I’ll get a low 4, but I’m confused with how poorly I do on non-calc MC. On a practice test a few weeks ago, I ended up using all the time allotted, had to guess on a few, and ended up with 45% right. On calc MC I finished with 20 minutes left and 75% right (2 Qs were silly mistakes).

I wanted to make a 5 on this exam, but I’m too lazy to study now. :-bd

I’m taking AB, I’m 99% confident I’ll get a 5. I got 90% on average on MC and I’m doing pretty well on the FRQs :P

are we allowed to store formulas in our calculators?

I’m pumped to earn that 5 on the AB exam tomorrow! I’ve taken two full length tests and I’ve gotten middle range 5’s on both of them without much difficulty… Anyone else psyched for the test?

My poker face… B-)

I am ready but nervous XD BRING IT ON!!!

Last minute review! If anyone, like me, wants to see last minute big topics for AB exam click below. Great to just look things over with! :)

Hello just took Cal BC international version…
Please tell me I was not the only one who felt that test was difficult :((
I used to got about 10 wrong on MCQs most of the time and I was quite confident on FRQ
but I made several mistake and felt the test was difficult than expected, I hope I will get a 5…

It probably was hard, but I’m pretty sure you did perfectly fine!
It always happens, but don’t worry, and just be relived that you finished.

This thread is so quiet compared to the Chem thread…

Regardless, good luck on the exams tomorrow everyone! :)

Hey @Onsemiru what topics were on the Free Response Section? Or anyone else who has already taken it? Thanks
