AP Calculus AB VS AP Biology

Only one will fit into my SENIOR schedule.

I’m applying for a neuroscience major at a lot of schools, however I will be ED-ing to Wharton for Healthcare Management, and applying for a few business undergrads.

I have already taken AP Chemistry and AP Physics, as well as Self-Study for Psychology, Geography, and Macro

I know it seems like not a lot, but my school only allows AP’s starting as a Junior and only allows 2

Next year, will be taking AP Stats and College Level Anatomy

I would take AP Bio

I would take AP calc in place of AP stats

@mommdc I can’t it doesn’t fit into my schedule unless I drop out of AP English and AP Physics

Oh ok. Then AP Bio I guess and take Calc in college.

Wait, didn’t you say you already took AP physics?

I would take AP Calc before AP Bio or AP Stats.

Could you take AP Calc and AP English, not take AP physics if you already took physics, AP Bio or college level anatomy? How about social science and foreign language?

I would take Calc. Wharton emphasizes on math

@mommdc I took AP Physics 1 and am taking AP Physics 2 as a senior

Social sciences I already completed the requirement for as a junior but might take college level sociology next year

foreign language not taking as a senior

http://www.upenn.edu/ir/commondataset.html

UPenn’s common data set has 4 units of foreign language recommended, 4 units of math, 4 units of English, 3 science with lab, 2 social science, 3 history.

If you want to do something with science or business I would take Calc before taking AP physics 2.
