I just found out today that my school is no longer going to offer AP Calculus BC, at least for next year, since only about 5 kids signed up for it. My teacher had been trying to make it a separate class, where before AB and BC had been in the same class and BC never scored very well because they weren't given much attention. Now there will be no BC at all. I took AB this year and am pretty confident I got 5, and at the very least a 4. I had signed up to take both AP Stats and AP Calc BC because I love math, and also because I'm focusing on going to a technical school like MIT or Georgia Tech. I'm worried not having BC will hurt my chances for these schools. So should I talk to my guidance counselor about taking BC online? I'm worried it might be too much with NHS, marching band(i'm color guard captain), 3 other APs and two dual-enrollments, along with the various senior festivities and applying to colleges/scholarships. I could also take dual-enrollment Calc at the college, but would only be able to for 1st semester since my school only allows two dual-enrolled classes each semester, and my second semester is already booked with hs on-campus dual-enrolls.

What should I do? I'm not interested in a self-study btw, I know for a fact that I wouldn't be able to make myself commit to it and would actually end up wasting the money for the test. :P
