I'm taking the BC exam this May. I received a 5 on AB with no sweat, so I figured the same would happen with BC. I've been doing great on FRQ practice -- averaging only about 9 points off of the 54 per exam, I'd guess -- and I know I need to get in the 70-80 / 108 range for a 5. This gives me a lot of lee-way on the MC sections.

I took a practice test from the AMSCO's 2004-ish book (outdated, I know). I timed myself just on the 55-minute 28-question no calculator section, and I had to leave about 10/28 blank! It's not that the questions were difficult -- they just took very long to do. I'm sure that with no time limit I could have answered all but perhaps one or two. (Actually, I noticed that they do test some stuff the BC exam doesn't seem to test...) But when I took the 2003 official CollegeBoard MCQ 55-minute 28-question no calculator section, I answered all with 15 minutes to spare and got 26/28 correct.

I know that based on my practice with official material, I can score a 5. But the AMSCO's tests bother me. Does anyone have any experience with them or past BC exams? I would like to confirm that I will not run out of time on the actual test (I almost never have when practicing with recent official material), and that the AMSCO practice exams include much more time-consuming problems.

Also, I seem to recall that the 1993 and 1998 MCQ exams were slightly more difficult than the 2003 exam. I have yet to take the 2008 MCQ section, though I expect its difficulty will be similar to 2003's, and that 2013's will be similar to 2003 and 2008. Can anyone confirm (again, also related to the amount of time it'll take to do each problem)?

Thank you.
