Hi guys, with AP Exams coming out recently, I figure I'd ask this question now.
I'm taking this class next year and I just wanted know any feedback from students who have already taken it.
How was the workload?
How was the AP Exam?
Any good experiences from the class?
Things I should watch out for?
How's the pace?
Any good resources?

Thanks guys!

-The workload was not bad at all for my class. The teacher assigned about an hour a night. Of course, that could be different for other teachers.

-The AP exam was the easiest one I took in high school. As long as you prepare for it well, earning a 5 isn’t a hassle like other subjects.

-My teacher was great. He and the students used to make dorky math jokes at times. We also had a dogdgeball tournament against Calc AB after the AP exam…We lost… :(

-You should watch out for tests. Make sure that you study and do the homework. Make sure that you understand the concepts and how to do the problems before taking the test.

-The class goes at a faster pace than AB because we have more material to cover. But don’t worry, it isn’t that bad.

-Wolfram Alpha is a great math tool if you’re stuck on a problem.

And to prepare for the class, it would be great to review the unit circle and trig identities, because you will need to know trig stuff in Calc. Also, you should review some other precalc topics like functions and limits.

Google the official practice Exam for BC Calculus and take it completely in January of 2015, see where you stand. Then start doing all of the FRQ’s online like 3 Questions a week and understand what you are getting wrong. You should get a 5 the test is system that can be cracked.
