Okay, so I am not doing well in my precal with honors math class. I used to do so well in math, but recently I just can't learn anything and I've been failing or close to failing my tests. I still have a B in the class however. My question is whether or not I should take AP calculus my senior year? By the way I want to be an opthamologist and need many years of math inane science. So what should I do? Take another year of science to make 5, or take another year of math, to make 5 also...Help?!

The thing about math is so much builds on what you have already learned. Miss out a crucial part, and you will come to a screeching halt.

Having Calc would be good for a lot of different colleges. I would suggest you go over to Khan academy and start brushing up on your precalc, to see if you can catch up (and then start working ahead on Calc, before the class starts.

Thank you that’s really good advice. I might just do that. Thanks.
