I'm panicking right now because even though I do well in both classes, I'm not confident that I'll receive a 5 on both. A 5 on AP chem is critical for exemption in school and my teacher has like 4 more chapters to teach and we only have 3 weeks. In APWH I'm nervous but not that really concerned except for the essays. Does anyone have any tips or advice on the multiple choice, free response, and essays? These are my first AP tests. Also any tools like books, cd's, or computer programs that can significantly help???

Get your hands on as many practice tests as possible and take them, then review EVERY SINGLE ANSWER even if you got it right.

That’s how I got a 4 on the US exam (and I SUCK at history, haha).

Good luck!

For AP World, grab a review book and read through it. If you’re relatively confident about your history knowledge, get Princeton Review. It’s easy to read (and full of bad puns) and will summarize everything neatly and concisely. (I got a 5 on AP World. Good teacher, Princeton Review).

Chemistry - I advise you to review the basic equations. The MC questions on the actual exam aren’t complex. You just need to know which equations to use and when to use them, basically. The free response is a little more complicated, and I advise you to do a few practice problems. (I got a 4: Bad teacher, minimal studying).

Take a deep breath and relax. You’ll be fine, and good luck!

^ Thanks so I plan to get the princeton review then. I really need something simple and not too complex.
