Should I take AP Chem if I want to go into chemical engineering? I was gonna take ap physics c but im not sure if its relevant. and dont u have to retake physics in college anyway?

There's a reason AP counts for college credit. It depends on the college, but generally, you should be able to skip a class or two for either chem or physics.

I think it really just depends on which subject you enjoy more. If I were you, I'd talk to upperclassmen and find out about the teachers that teach those classes at your school. Go with the best teacher (not just the easiest; a hard teacher that explains concepts clearly will help you much more than getting an "A" with an easy teacher). If you're planning on majoring in chem engineering, I think both will be equally helpful.

You are going to have to take both Chemistry and Physics classes as a chemical engineering major.
