Hi, so I have just started the school year and I'm taking AP chem. I just took my beginning of the year test, which tests us on everything we learned in Honors Chem. I did all the practice problems in the textbook that my teacher told me to do (like 100+ problems), and I even looked into every topic deeply through online videos and websites. So i thought I was pretty prepared, but NOPE. I completely bombed the test. Well, I didnt get my test back, but I know I did horribly. I left 8 blank (out of 25 questions), and the questions I did answer, I wasn't confident with. So my question is, where can I find extremely difficult chem questions? I know there are released AP test exams, but I'm looking for specific topics. Like if I want specific practice on, let's say, gas laws, where can I find online practice? I want hard, AP type questions, not beginners questions. Obviously, even my AP book's questions didn't prepare me for the test, so are there any websites that have AP quality questions on specific material?

Please no, "just use google" answers because I have tried, and yes I found some good websites, but I want to know if there are anymore.

@jimmyboy23 The 100+ problems we had to do for our summer assignment were not as difficult as the ones on the test. They were actually extremely simple and basic problems. Ex: find Empirical formula given the mass percent of each element in a substance. That stuff was simple. The test however was beyond that difficulty; I, and everyone in my class, knew all the concepts well. It was just the book problems were so easy that when we took the test, we didn’t know how to solve, or couldn’t solve quickly, the harder problems. If I had a lot more difficult problems to practice from (problems that weren’t so basic) I’d probably have finished my test a lot faster ( actually didn’t finish), and have gotten more correct.

If you are using a college level chemistry textbook, then the examples at the back of the book will have more than sufficient difficulty unless if your teacher is just sadistic. Some of those questions are actually meant to prepare chem majors for future chemistry courses and would be considered considerably rigorous. If you are doing all of these problems, getting them right, and getting test questions wrong, then more questions are not going to help.

I could point you in the direction of graduate level chemistry problems but I don’t know why those will help with your class or how they will help in your preparation for the AP exam.

If you are using a college level book you should have at least one example of any type of problem your teacher might ask.
