Do I have to include proper units with every answer?

if the college board's answer says 610 and i get 611, does that count?

hmm...sig figs matter if that's what you mean.

I don't think you need to include units because the question will usually tell you what units to put it in. Unless you include the answer in different units, then you should include them.

i don't know--you should put as much detail into your answers as possible

I believe you need to have correct units and correct digits for sig.figs, so if you get 610 and it's 611, you don't get credit. If you put 611.3, then you still get credit.

Well usually when they want you to put units they will specifiy it. They did this only on one part that I saw on this year's test.

sometimes they can be pretty lenient on answers, it usually depends on the method used. if for an acid/base equilibrilium proplem you used pH=pKa+log(base/acid) or w/e the equation is, your answer will be different than if you used the ICEE method to determine the final pH.
