It’s been more than a year since I’ve used this site, and I’m no longer an ignorant freshman… lol. Anyway, I’m here to get honest advice on which AP Chem review book is most beneficial to scoring well. I understand that a 5 is a very big reach unless chemistry is in your genes (I have a friend who got all his dad 's genes and is able to do any equilibrium problems in his head within a minute-RICE tables mainly). I’d rather aim high and be as prepared as possible and hopefully get a 4. Price is not an issue. I just want to know which book has helped you best, and what other strategies help to study. Thank you.
I’m in AP Chem this year and I’ve been using both Princeton Review and Crash Course. Both have really helped me grasp the material and do well on tests. I can’t say how well they prepare you for the ap test since I haven’t taken it yet, but my class tests are very difficult and these books have helped me keep an A (which is an impressive feat giving the difficulty of my school’s AP Chem class). Hope this helps
