<p>How hard is AP Chemistry exactly? Does it require a lot of studying and work?<br>
I'm not exactly the smart type of person. (Kinda struggled through AP Bio).</p>
<p>Chemistry and Biology are two entirely different things. Chemistry is based more on math, as biology is based more on, er, memorization. People that are good in biology aren't necessarily good in chemistry, and vice versa. </p>
<p>Also, chemistry is cumulative, in that you build upon the concepts you learn at the start. If you cannot keep up in the beginning, you won't succeed in chemistry.</p>
<p>That being said, I highly enjoyed chemistry, but nearly all of my classmates hated it. I'd say if you're good in math, you should go for it.</p>
<p>Yeah, agreed that if you enjoy math that you will most likely enjoy chemistry, I mean I know chemistry just clicked for me, and on top of it, it is definitely self-studiable, so with a good teacher it can be really easy, so good luck with that.</p>
