Which is harder, easier, more time-consuming, advantages and disadvantages of taking online versus physically, etc.? Regardless of what choice, I’ll be taking Honors Chemistry over summer prior to taking either. My school doesn’t offer AP Chemistry, though I want to take it, and I was wondering if I should take AP Chemistry or a Community College General Chemistry A+B (the college near me offers a 2-semester version of General Chemistry, so either way, both will take an entire school year, with the exception of an AP ending before May).
Here’s my situation. I’m a slow reader and find that it takes 3 hours to read 12-15 pages of AP Biology for my online AP Biology course – so I will spend a lot of time reading, especially in science and, of course, history. I spend roughly 8-10 hours on my AP Bio course per week. I assume AP Chemistry online will be the same. How would a community college General Chemistry A+B compare? At my community college, it’s 4 hours of lecture per week, and I’m unsure about the amount of homework/studying time there is?
Thanks.
