Im not quite sure where this belongs…
Im a senior in high school and im currently in AP chem. Ive already been asked by the counsler to drop out because i wasnt in honors chem my junior year. I personally wpuld really love to take ap chem and go through it like a champ but im not quite caught up with most of the other kids. I took gen chem last year and got As and im usually an all As with one B student. But right now im an all As with one C student. That C being in AP chem. Its an 82 and its mostly due to the tests we do (practice ap tests that consist of about five parts and thirty points) which i have gotten a c on one, and an f on the other. Most the other students were in honors chem (aka ap chem prep) and im kind of on the same level test wise, but grade wise im not sure. I just want to know, if i end every semester with a 87 (which i think is either a high c or low b in my school) would that hurt my gpa or chanses of getting into college? Can anyone else share their AP Chem grades if they have/remember them (at least from the begining of their ap chem class)? I want to become a veterinarian, which is a science major, so i realize that ap chem might not do anything to my science credits for a science major but i feel like it would help me out by me knowing it. Im just worried that this class will tear down my gpa…
