Hey yall,
I've heard that AP chem is one of the hardest APs....but cant understand..what part of it is so hard? like the workload or the understanding of the stuff or what....similarly i am taking AP calc BC and AP US...whats hard abt them

I think it’s just the amount of material you need to be able to remember and apply.

For what I know from my D that she took double period AP chemistry last year. She also bought AP chemistry study guide for the book that her teacher used. This will help with understanding the homework and test. Chemistry is her favor subject and she got an A on the subject and a 5 on the AP chemistry exam with the help of AP chemistry practice exam from Princeton Review.

There is a lot of material to memorize; conceptually, it’s pretty straightforward, not as sneaky as physics concepts.
Workload and difficulty of the class, not necessarily the test, depends on your teacher and how much pressure you put on yourself to study.
