AP class vs. Berkeley class: harder/easier/similar?

i’d say difficulty is based on how hard you try lol
i thought ap chem was really hard and i got a 3…this was senior year when i didn’t study
then i tried for chem 1a cuz i was freaked out about college and pulled an A easily

and now i’m gonna get ****ed for chem 3a cuz i haven’t been studying ><

yeah i think AP classes are hella harder. man these mcb classes are a joke compared to AP bio that i took in 10th grade.

Chango: You’re extremely lucky actually b/c your HS is so bad. APs are standardized tests, and really class is “optional” if you are smart enough to come to Berkeley. These kids can read a book and get a 5 no sweat.

So think of it this way. Many kids who go to really great HS and have straight 4’s and 5’s on APs get rejected b/c of their “okay-ish” GPA.

Yeah, but if I had such privileges I would have been amongst different standards, therefore, I probably could have done better in high schools up north than my high school right by the border. It’s like my teacher said, if you switch the teachers around between schools up north and schools down south, for the most part, the students in the south will still struggle getting a 3 while the students in the north can get 4-5’s no sweat.
