AP Classes

I’m currently completing my applications for honors classes. I am most likely going to take 4 out of the 5 honors classes available for freshman year. I want to take classes that will allow me to take AP classes further on in High School. I put together most of the classes I am going to take in High School and in total I will take 6 to 7 AP classes by graduation. Is that enough? I know colleges want to see a rigorous schedule but is only 6 to 7 enough? My school offers APs in junior and senior year only so… do I have enough?

Colleges will look at what was available to your high school. So if you can only take AP’s junior and senior year, that is enough. You are doing the right thing to set yourself up now to be able to take the AP courses later. Over the next year you will see where you interests lie and you can adjust your schedule accordingly.
