AP classes.

are you able to enroll in AP classes your freshman year of high school?

Yes, but it depends on your school and their issues with it.
But I say go ahead

Depends on the school...generally, however, AP classes are not designed for freshmen, so you'd have to talk to a counselor and prove that you can handle it...

depends on the school
at mine APs are mostly seniors only, there are a few that juniors can take.

but there are definitely a good number of schools where freshmen can take AP classes, and that is why it is sooo easy to get a 5 on the AP bio exam. I personally think that it is dumb for a freshman to take AP classes, there is no way in hell an entire class of 14 year olds is ready for the supposed "college-level" work tested on the AP exams.

im not an average 14 year old.

I don't think it is whether you can do it or not; I'm pretty sure every on CC can do it...it is a matter if age wise you are ready. Think about it: You're going to be the only freshman. What is the rush?

to get it over with

Then that's not the right attitude for taking an AP course. You should only take an AP course if you're willing to take the intellectual challenge. An AP course is (supposed to be) much more than just prep for the AP exam; it introduces you to the in-depth study that you will see in college. Of course, there are easy AP courses that teach for the exam, but if you try a good AP course freshman year, you might find yourself with more work than you bargained for.

Case in point: Calc AB: took freshman year, had 1 to 1-1/2 hours of homework a night...only made it through because self-studied over the summer (but then again, I was top of class, so I shouldn't complain)
