I'm currently a junior, and taking ap english and ap us history (also honors pre-calculus)... our school doesn't offer ap or honors physics, so I have to take regular. When I apply to colleges, will they know that I didn't have the option of taking ap physics? And my second question, next year (senior year) I'm planning on taking ap english, ap chemistry, ap calculus, and possibly ap latin. Will colleges see that? Or would I be wasting my time to take that many ap classes my senior year? I hope I didn't mess up by waiting to take ap chemistry 'till next year...

Yes…

When you school sends your transcript, it will include a school profile which will list all the classes that it offers. Therefore, colleges will see that your school didn’t offer various classes.

Students aren’t penalized for not taking classes that weren’t offered.

oops typo…meant to write…When your school sends…

Thanks! As for ap chemistry next year, will that go on my college gpa? Or will they not even see that?

They will see the first semester of your senior year and what classes you are taking and possibly your current grades in said classes, but it will not have been calculated into your GPA. If it’s a really tough decision between you and someone else they may even look at the first 6 weeks of your second semester. So just keep truckin’ ;P

You want your counselor letter to say that you took the most challenging course load possible. If AP Chemistry is offered, I highly recommend you take it.
