AP COMPUTER SCIENCE
AP PHYSICS B
AP CALCULUS AB
HONORS ENGLISH
HONORS CHEMISTRY
HONORS SPANISH 3

Do you guys think it is rigor enough for top universities? Is 3 AP enough?
Also, I transferred to new school and the fact that my previous school doesn't offer any honors or ap classes, I haven't taken any those classes. Will college be able to find out?

In addition, the counselor does not let me take Ap english saying that I must take Honors English before.. do you think it will be a factor in college admission? Or should I just fight for ap class?

I would fight for AP Eng. It isn’t particularly hard and is probably more writing intensive at your school than honors. However, you can communicate that you weren’t allowed to take it as a result of transferring to colleges on your app, so only fight for it if you like writing and want a more challenging english class.

How did you do in pre-calc? I assume you are very good in Math if you are taking Calculus as a Junior.
Also, have you taken Bio, CHem and Physics already? Or is AP Physics your first physics class?
Otherwise that looks very rigorous for a junior…you just need to make sure you can do well in those classes.

I took bio in freshman year and I took physical science in sophomore year. Chemistry and physics are my first classes.
Pre calculus was easy for me. I actually did not study and managed 95.

@ribbonroad224 I disagree. AP English is not something you want to rush and take. I wouldn’t recommend fighting for it. If the school makes you take Honors English first, it’s for a reason. It is probably because AP Lang is taught in an extremely rigorous manner in that school and it would be hard to jump into that course. Also, your schools AP policy will be on the high school profile. So you will not be penalized if you don’t take it til senior year. And besides, colleges will see your senior year rigor anyway.
