AP Classes

My school offers seven AP classes and only allows students to take a maximum of four (APUSH in Junior year, any other three in Senior year).

My main question is whether noting the school's AP restrictions is something my guidance counselor should do. If not, does anybody know where to indicate this? (Or if I even should?)

I'm a bit worried that I'll look like a slacker based on my course schedule. -_____-

Thank you so much!!

Most schools (all schools?) send a school profile along with your transcripts to whatever colleges you apply to. At my daughter’s school it’s one sheet, double-sided, full of statistics and awards. Schools that don’t offer many AP classes usually note this on the profile so their students are not unfairly compared to applicants from schools that offer more. You might schedule an appointment with your school’s college counselor and ask to see a copy of the school profile.

they will know what classes you had available, and they will know that you took the most rigorous schedule possible.

Oh, OK~

Thank you both!
