What do you think about this? I am currently taking AP Com Sci A and it is annoyingly easy. Should I self study for AB Exam? what's the difference in the difficulties in the two exams?

AB covers linked lists, stacks and queues, trees, and collections. I'm self studying the whole thing and I'm still finding it pretty easy to go through. I think that you should go for it.

As for the difference in difficulty level, I wouldn't know since I haven't taken either one yet, but you can always go buy a book with a practice test and try them out.

how are you self studying this..? textbooks?

You should have no problem. I think AP Comp Sci is the easiest class if you know what to study for the test. And the Difference between A and AB can be learned in a week or so. I took the A test last year and got a 5 without any problems. The AB test is supposedly not much harder, and I am sure that I can get a 5 on it if I choose to take it.
