AP Comparative Government and Politics

This will my first AP of the year!! woo hooo! haha yea right. but I've started studying ummmmmmmm TODAY! right after SAT IIS was supposed to start but you know.....well, basically I'm about to start. giving me 2 days. actually less than. hows everybody else doing on studying? how does everyone feel about the test?

Yeah i started today, so far I am studying federalism, and i have oh just about ONLY 14 more chapters to study, and I do NOT want to be studying new material tomorrow. I think I am going to just pull an all nighter until I am done studying and then review tomorrow. How is everyone else doing?

Its a good thing that I have notes coming out of my ears. My class and I joined together and we split up chapters to summarize the notes and vocab from each chapter, and then we shared the info. So i dont have to worry about writing notes. Its pretty nifty, I have my own notes, my friends notes, class notes, and online notes for EACH chapter. So something is bound to get inside my thick head.

lol, i am motivating myself by painting one nail each time I finish a chapter. That way I will be knowledge-able and have nice nails. =p im st00pid i know

hehe nice reward! i usually reward myself with chocolate...not nearly as glamorous. um basically or teacher has given us notes which aren't the most conicse but iI can't possibly return to a textbook with two days to go! hopefully i can still pull through with a five. a major advantage is just staying up with the news, and i enjoy the economist, listen to NPR haha, so hopefully i'll be able to b.s. the free response parts.

actually could someone clarify what actually is on the free response part...and how much time we have for each section. thanks!

we have 100 minutes on the FR do to 8 questions. The first 5 are short-paragraph-long definitions which are worth 25% of FR with suggested time of 30 minutes. The 6th is a context/idea question worth 25% of FR with suggested time of 30 minutes. The 7/8th are country-specific questions each worth 25% of FR with suggested time of 20 minutes...but the definitions don't take nearly 30 minutes, so you shouldn't worry bout time

8?!?!!?!? OMG I feel so unprepared. My teacher JUST HAD TO GET PREGNANT at this time.. omfg, I didnt even know there were 8. I might as well just go to the test and be SUPRISED by the whole format. At leat my sub could have told us the god damn format. ugh this makes me mad. I am going to fail, i know it.

u didn't read the whole post!! the first 5 are just definitions

actually i am just plain stupid cuz i am mistaking this test for us gov test.
