AP Compsci or AP Psychology

Hey guys!
Right now, I am in a dilemma. I cannot decide weather to self study AP Compsci or AP Psychology. First of all, I really want to do one of those because I have gotten some of the easiest teachers I can for sophomore year, it would be a waste to not do one. My school does not offer any AP’s in sophomore year either. I am 99% going to be a compsci major, that cant be changed. I heard from a friend that its better to take the school AP CS class if I am going into CS. However, I have always been able to pick up anything to do with computers, very, very quickly. I know java at an intermediate level, and have coded real-world applicable programs. I started with java an year ago and it only took me a month or so to get the hang of it. On the other hand, I have heard that psychology is very easy to get a 5 on, and is one of the most recomended self study AP’s. I honestly cannot decide at this point… Any opinions?
Thanks a lot for reading!

If you are planning to major in CS, by all means take the AP CS course over AP Psychology. It’s not just coding; I’m sure there will be stuff in AP CS that will be new to you.

AP Psych is considered to be easier than CS. Admissions depts know that. You’d be better off doing CS.

Id love to learn new stuff in compci. Just wanted to know if not taking a class will lower my chances
