Question for people who have done the eIMACS program or know some good AP Comp resources . . .

I am really struggling with the eIMACS program. When I signed up to take the class, I expected the teacher to be explaining concepts to us, but he has no idea what is going on. He cannot even explain topics from months ago. eIMACS is my only resource, and I am struggling a lot to complete activities and tests. Is there anywhere I can go for help on activities? I can't afford a tutor. The last activity took me 13 hours. Advice?

Is there any website that has solutions to the eIMACS problems that I can use for reference? (just for reference!)

I’m not taking AP Comp Sci on eIMACS, but from a course provider called Amplify. It’s completely free and you have a whole forum for support if you don’t understand a concept. I also recommend a textbook called Blue Pelican that is completely free to download. I wish you good luck!

@theaplife Did your eIMACS instructor have the initials T.K. by chance? I’m researching which online AP CompSci course to take. Appreciate any feedback about the curriculum, instruction methods and the instructor, are replies timely or just not competent? Thanks
@CSinPa I am pretty sure that TK stands for Terry Kaufman, the creator of imacs’s son. I live in Florida so I sometimes talk with these people. I am taking AP Comp Sci on eImacs after finishing UCs 1 and 2 and the course is really detailed interactive and the replies are timely. It is very thorough and competent
They make you learn by teaching you about things and having you type things and experiment for yourself on an ice that they host themselves on the pages of the course online . It is very easy
