AP Computer Science test changes? anyone in APCS please read!

Hello.

I am in AP Calculus at my school, and my teacher has told us that the May 2011 test has 2 calculator free response, and 4 no calc. This is a change from the previous standard of 3/3. Also, the 1/4 a point wrong for each question wrong has been lifted, you're allowed to guess ACT style now. However every prep book I've purchased, the most recent Kaplan, Barrons, and PR (the 2011 one) all still say 1/4 a point wrong and do 3/3 in their practice tests. I have the AP Computer Science Barrons book, version 5 published in 2010, and I was wondering is the test changed in any way from the prep books?

My Barron's book says 1/4 a point deducted for each question wrong, 40 multiple choice, 4 free response. Is this correct? Have any of your teachers told you differently? Is it changed for May like it is for calc? The reason I ask is I'm self studying APCS and so I have no teacher to inform me of updates.

Your AP Calculus teacher is correct on both counts.

No guessing penalty is enforced for APCS anymore, either. In fact, the guessing penalty is gone for all AP exams. And yes, the Calculus test is now 2 calculator/4 non-calculator FRQ.

Well calculators were allowed at all? I took it calculator free last year
