<p>I am an international applicant from India.My school does not offer AP courses but the difficulty of my courses are the same ,if not greater than the AP courses offered in the US.Is it necessary for me to take them separately because frankly speaking they are extremely expensive..:p</p>
<p>No. MIT gets applicants from all over the world, and the admissions officers know about schools all over the world. You do not need to spend money to signal to MIT that your courses are hard.</p>
<p>MIT also gives credit for good scores on A-levels, IB, and similar international exams. At the worst case, you can test out of those subjects during orientation week.</p>
