littlebusrider, you can transfer over only 4 for science even if the exam is 8.

I think I may have been wrong, and that its you lose financial aid, not pay by credit.

is it possible to use the ap credits that stern does not take such as stats/econs and apply it towards a minor?

"oOStarGazerOo: is it possible to use the ap credits that stern does not take such as stats/econs and apply it towards a minor?"

No, Stern doesn't accept stats and econ because they want - and require - you to take the classes when you get to college. So, if you take AP Micro, Stern won't allow you to apply the credit at all and you will have to take microecon freshman year. Therefore, it can't be used for a minor because you're not going to get any credit for taking the exam.

Class of 2009 was allowed macro AP credit, and stats if we passed a test...may have changed it for class of 2010 though.

For Statistics, they will give 4 out of 6 credits if you pass the proficency test.

Another question....if i graduate in 3.5 years....does that mean i can't participate in graduation in May??????????????? Or do you simply just do nothing and graduate in May anyway....I'm sure this will be clarified at Academic Orientation in June, but does anyone know now?

eji2006,

You apply to the registrar for graduation in October of Senior year and will officially graduate in Jan 2010. You can then participate in May 2010 commencement.
