Hey everyone,

Well, I didn't quite ask my advisors about claiming Calculus Credit for Pre-Pharmacy.

On the sheet they handed us, they only have 5 classes to fulfill the calculus prerequisites.

I got a 5 on the Calculus BC (5 AB subscore) and that exempts me from 408K and 408L.

The problem comes because neither of those classes are listed as a calculus prerequisite and if I got a 3, it would've covered me for 408C, which is one of the classes.

So out of the 5 options, these 3 are the ones I would take, since the other 2 are non-calculus.

408N - Calculus (ALEKS 70+)

408S - credit for 408K

408C (ALEKS 80+)

So my question to you guys is, should I take calculus since I believe my AP credit would account for option 2 I believe.

Another question is, I know some Pharmacy colleges take AP credits, and some don't. So if you happen to know this info about the Texas pharmacy schools, could you post it up?

Schedule Question:

Okay, so I went to the last orientation and had a last name between p - z so all the classes were closed basically.

So based on past experience, is it likely that I have a chance of getting better classes?

Another Class Question:

Should I take a UGS class or stat class? All the UGS classes were closed, but some might open up.

I'm already signed up for a stat class, but I don't know how demanding that class will be so I might want to switch.

I don't want to have stat at the same time with bio / chem. However, I took stat in high school, and too bad I didn't take the AP, since everyone in my class got a 4+. So do you think stat will be pretty easy?
