Its getting near the time to sign up for AP tests and I wanted some advice on what tests I should take. Ill probably end up calling the school, but any help is appreciated. I plan on majoring in Aerospace Engineering. Right now my AP classes are Calculus BC, English Literature and Composition, and European History.

Im pretty sure Ill take the European History test because I think I can use it as a social science/humanities elective. Im not sure about English. According to BUs AP credit guide from last year, English will get credit for any two from EN 141, EN 142, EN 143. The problem is that I do not see any of those three classes under the aerospace engineering curriculum. Is there an English requirement that isnt listed?

My second question is about calculus. I got a 4 on the AB exam, which is credit for MA 123. I guess my question is can I take the next class in line if I test out of the one before it? Like since I tested out of MA 123, can I start off freshman year taking MA 124? Or if I test out of MA 124, can I start with some other class I would normally take sophomore year?

Of course, all of this is pending my acceptance to the school, but it’s my number one choice and I’m pretty confident.
