AP credit rule...so frustrating!! Chemistry honors series?

What if you decide not to take an AP test although you checked off that you would take it on the UC application? I’m going to be a CS Major in 6th college, and it’s AP French, if any of that matters.

Could my admittance somehow be rescinded? Or can I avoid taking this horrifying test?

@RawrDino: I think they might contact you about it, before doing anything. I’m not taking that risk, though.

@Distress: Alright. Right now, I’m trying to center my classes around my major, with consideration to the GE’s. Thanks for your advice, though.

I recommend confirming this with an academic counselor but yes, I’m pretty sure that your grade will show up on your transcript, even though it doesn’t count toward your GPA (transcripts are comprehensive so they will show everything you ever took), so if you mess up and get a C in a class you were exempt from, it shows up as a C. so you should be careful in your choices because theoretically it can actually hurt you to retake courses you’re exempt from. AP Chem = Chemistry 6A, 6B, 6C if you got a 5. There are lists online that tell you what AP score corresponds to what classes.
