Just wondering how much AP credit did everyone actually get for UVA. Like did you guys get like 20-30 credits or something. Just wondering.

Also do you have to take like Math, Science, Social Studies etc. in college? I think I'm going to be a Echol's scholar so do they have to take core classes? Also what if I was just a regular student?

Yes, in college you have distribution requirements.

What leads you to think that you will be an Echols Scholar? Are your numbers good? Echols Scholars have no distribution requirements, but regular students do. Required classes can be tested out of with APs and (for languages) SAT2's.

It says to send scores so some specific person... How do you do this through collegeboard??? (I'm assuming it has to be officially sent by them?) I thought you could only specify UVA's "number" (5280 maybe?? SATs were a while ago) or something when sending scores to colleges. Thanks.

You send them to UVA in general - they will end up in the right place. If about a month into your first semester you still don't see them show up for you on ISIS, see garett hall if you're in clas, thornton a122 for engineering, etc.

In my experience (engineering school offices), the scores do not have to be sent by them - however, they do want an official copy. In other terms, it's fine if you just bring them your free score report you get during the summer from collegeboard through the mail.

i dont get how that works then...it means i dont have a required amount of credits i need to graduate?

Being in Echols.....i mean, wat exactly do i follow...if i have no requirements..i can take watever i want...but wat amount of classes per term? and dont i have a certain credits i need to attain to graduate? (even though ill probably surpass them)

You need 120 credits to graduate and you need to satisfy the major(s) requirements in whatever major you decide to pursue. That is all.
