ap credit

So I know there have been other threads on this subject, but I was just wondering what northwestern's policy on ap credit is, particularly for mccormick? Also does anyone know if nu has a website with all of the ap requirements (ie what scores you have to get and how many you can use)? Any information would be helpful, thanks.

Look at this website below:

Advanced Placement (AP) examinations, Policies on course credit, Freshman, Office of Undergraduate Admission - Northwestern University

If i have 5's on all 3 history courses, can I test out of 6 courses, or only 2?

Just 2. Which sucks.

I signed up for AP Literature and AP European History not anticipating going to Northwestern but rather Syracuse, and now I'm going to be taking it for no credit since I got 5s on Lang and US/World. I would just skip the exam, but I kinda petitioned the school for funds to take the exams so I would feel kinda bad doing that.

the ap policy lets you "skip" courses and move on to the next level, though there is a cap to how many. the "2" rule i believe is in regard to fulfilling distro's. you can get more elective credits, which are just free credits that could potentially allow you to take less credits/graduate early
