I’m trying to plan ahead for my application for Conditional Admission to GT. I’m probably going to the University of Wisconsin and I’ve made sure the classes I need to take for admission transfer over. But, something that is not made clear is AP credits. Let’s say I get a 4 or 5 on the AP Calc AB exam and use that score to get credit for MATH 221 at Wisconsin. MATH 221 at Wisconsin is equivalent to GT’s MATH 1501, one of the required courses to take for Conditional Admission. Would I be able to use my Wisconsin credit that I got from an AP class to count as credit for Conditional Admission or would I have to take Math 221 at Wisconsin no matter what. I’m thinking the AP credit would work out but I’m not sure. I’m banking on getting a 4 or 5 on the exam because I’m also planning on taking Calc 2 over the Summer at Bergen CC, so hopefully this works out. If no one knows I could just send GT an email because they are pretty responsive but I was wondering if anyone’s had firsthand experience.

Why wouldn’t you just call GT. You have very specific questions that only they can answer definitively.
