I'm entering Rice with 35+ hours in AP credits. Some questions -

I've taken two years of AP Physics, and I know that I can get only six hours of credit. Do most physics majors take the six and start with 200-level courses or am I better off in taking Physics 101/102?

With 35 credits in hand, is it possible to graduate in three years - and by that I mean is it possible to get the right sequence of courses done in three years in a major like Physics?

If it's not, does Rice allow a student to pay something less than full tuition in a semester? So if I only needed to complete a couple of courses a semester in my fourth year, would Rice allow me to pay by the credit hour?
