AP Credits

This year (high school senior year) I took AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Calculus BC (college freshman level courses). I took the AP tests for all three of these subjects, but I'm not sure if I should actually take the credit if I do well enough. As a pre-med, I know it's really important to get science courses in and understand them thoroughly. I'm pretty strong in these subjects, but probably not as strong as I should be. So, I wanted to know if it is worth it to just repeat these courses as a freshman. If I don't understand them well enough, would I just get slaughtered in the upper division courses? Also, I've heard that the MCAT material is heavily based on freshman level science/math courses. Is this true?

Yeah, just repeat them. No point in skipping over them.

just check with your college. My son's school did not allow students to retake a course for credit if AP score was high enough to receive credit.
