I was wondering how many AP credits do you need to graduate in 3 years?

You don’t need any to graduate in 3 years. (You can go 12 terms straight, if you want).

Assuming you want to graduate in only 9 terms (to save money), you could take 3 classes for 6 of those terms, and 4 classes for 3 of those terms without being charged extra. This would leave you with 30 out of the 35 required credits, so you would need 5 AP credits.

If you wanted to graduate never having to take 4 courses in a term, you would then need 8 AP credits. You also could take 4 courses every term except one, and then graduate in 3 years, but then you would need to pay a bit extra, because you can only take 4 courses 3 times for free.

Regardless, I don’t think you should try and graduate in 3 terms. People almost always regret it. College is supposed to be the best 4 years of your life. Why rush through it?

Haha, yeah, I was just worried about cost, and I took a few APs, so . . .

But I agree, I need to enjoy college

Thanks for the info though!
