Not sure if this has been asked before, but at my school AP Economics and AP Government are taken in the same class/course, and the Social Studies Seniors take on the AP track. I was wondering if they're considered different classes, or count as one cumulative credit? I've seen different study guides/books pop up for each subject, so it led me to believe they were different classes, but a semester was dedicated to each. Basically, if I were to take this course my Senior year, would I take an AP exam for each, or are they the same class?

They are two different classes, and you will have to take 2 separate AP tests. You may have been told that it was the same class because most seniors take Gov and Econ for their social studies, which would mean that you would receive social studies credit for taking those 2 classes as if you took a single, year-long social studies class.
