AP Economics Textbook for self-learning

Hi all,

I recently applied to Virtual High School's AP Economics offering since our ****ty school doesn't offer the course, but learned that the course became very full very quick, and no space was available. I'm looking to learn the course on my own.

What textbook would you recommend for this course, and how long would you say it would take to learn on one's own, at about 4 hours per week?

And, are there any other books I should get for it?

Thanks!

Mcconnell Brue.
But don’t use the textbook. Use PR.

I used Principles of Economics by Mankiw

My school didnt offer it either so I just dual enrolled at a local university and took it there over the fall. Check your local cc or university. Otherwise I recommend Mconnell Brue as well.

Use PR or Barrons. They will give you all you need really
