AP Economics?

Here is my schedule for next year:

1.)AP Gov
2.)Honors Chemistry
3.)Sophomore Honors English
4.)Digital Communications I
5.)German II
6.)Strength/Conditioning (alternates every other day)
6.)Guitar I (alternates every other day)
7.)Honors PreCalc
8.)Lunch
9.)Study Hall

With this kind of schedule, do you think I could handle AP Economics? I heard Sophomore Honors English and Honors PreCalc has a lot of work, especially at the end of the year. So, do you think I could handle it, or should I go CP English or something? I really do enjoy economics, so it isn’t a class I’m just taking willy nilly.

As another class (in school/online)?

This is completely dependent on your school (how fast paced your classes are), your teachers (how much homework/busy work they give, teaching methods, etc) and your personal abilities. Have you taken something similar to Econ before? Are you interested in the subject matter? Looked over a syllabus for the class?

Taking off Lunch and Study hall, you have seven classes. You could take AP Econ with this schedule (Econ is an AP-Lite -not very difficult- but since you feel like it’ll be too much to handle with Honors English and Honors PreCalc, I would suggest pushing it off till junior (or senior) year when your workload/grad requirements have decreased.
