I felt it was much easier than I had expected. I'm definitely hoping I got at least a 4 so I get 2 credits for it, a 3 is only worth 1.

I didn't think it was as bad as I had thought it would be.

Much easier than most prior years. External literature essay (number three) was outstandingly easy.

Yeah, the open prompt was perfect. It matched a novel we did this semester perfectly.

It could definitely be applied to a lot.

Yea.....I thought it was tough. I got stuck on the poems.

is East coast already done? Wow XD I don't start for another hour and a half.

it was pretty easy! and yeah - i really liked the #3 essay prompt and booklist. i think i've written the exact same essay this year with a bit of tweaking, lol. some of the MC was kinda iffy but for the most part definitely much better than calculus yesterday! hoping for a 5 :)

I have a question on the grading of the essays....(THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TEST CONTENT BTW) Do you automatically receive a low 2 or 3 if you don't get to finish an essay? I read the AP lit book from Princeton and it doesn't say the consequences of not finishing a writing.

It was pretty easy, so the scale probably will be pretty harsh. I don't think I did outstanding, so, I prolly got like a 3.

i actually did poorly on the "external literature essay" (I was goin on stuff I learned when i read my book a year ago). i owned the other two tho.... MC was allright

EDIT: Dont know if its considered "discussing the test," but removed the title of the book i used

Yeah. 3rd essay sucked. 1st was weird. 2nd was pretty cool. M/C was cake.

-The Multiple Coot66

I think I did poorly...I might possibly get a 2.
I freaked out on the first essay and spent the first 15-20 mins freaking out...which I know I wasn't supposed to do but I did anyway. I didn't start writing until 20 mins into it and I finished half of the essay...omg is half essage an automatic 0? 1? 2?
I did fine on the other two though.

I think I did okay overall.

MC was easy for me. Did well on 1st essay, not so much the other 2. Surprisingly I had only read maybe 4-5 books on the book list for the 3rd essay, when usually I've read 10 or more.

I should be getting at least a 4, which is fine with me, since that's all I need to get credit at Case. XD

Now, to study for AP Euro...

I felt it was "too easy". How is the curve done? By last year's scores or this year's? If it's curved by current year's scores, then you might be in for a harsh surprise...

It was so much easier than language last year- both MC and essays. I was really tired when I took the test though so MC is kinda blurry for me.. haha

Yeah.. It actually seemed too much easier than the practice tests.. I think I did okay.. There were more "easy" questions than I encountered in practice and I thought the essays were really easy.. I'm optimistic about a 4 and not saying a 5 is out of the question. Third essay was really easy in my opinion.

I thought it was pretty easy. Last prompt was golden, others were ok. MC was awesome until one part came along and slapped me in the face. Multiple times.

Ahh, I bombed it. So discouraging. I thought the multiple choice part was fairly moderate with at least 1 or 2 really challenging passages, but then the essay part came. I made the mistake of starting Essay 1 first and I spent forever on it, decided to move on to Essay 3, finish it, and then move back to Essay 1. So I never got to do Essay 2. :( I'm sooooo disheartened.
