Another Scarlet Letter response here and I got a 4, woooo

I used the Jungle, the part where Jurgis goes into the country after the death of his son. Thought about using Brave New World or Of Mice and Men. I got a 5 by the way.

I used Heart of Darkness and how the Europeans had to completely alter their value systems when getting stuck in the jungle. I only got a 4 though.

Pride and Prejudice, in which Elizabeth visits the English countryside with her aunt and uncle. What are men compared to rocks and mountains?

I used Much Ado About Nothing for the third essay. I had seen the play in October. I had actually written 3/4 of a page about The Power and the Glory and crossed it out. I didn't write more than 2 pages for any of the essays--still got a 4 because I rocked the multiple choice.

Already posted this somewhere else, but I also used King Lear...got a 5. I did like the essays but this one (3rd) definitely caught me a little off guard.

I used Madame Bovary..how depressed she was because of the rural lifestyle and got a 4...and thats with writing only one paragraph for the poem question.

I wrote about The Sun Also Rises using THE country of France and got a 4!

used brave new world... savage reservation vs world state... got a 5 with crappy first essay and a terrible second essay!!.. thank god for multiple choice...

I havent seen many with 2's and 3's on this exam...

I guess I'm one of the few then :)

I wrote about The Secret Life of Bees, got a 4

Wrote about A Midsummer Night's Dream, about the woods vs. the city. I forgot if it was actually supposed to be about a country as in a political entity, there were mixed reactions to that after the test. Got a 5 anyway.

Wrote about Huckleberry Finn, got a 5.

Haha, I wrote a disastrous (or so I thought) essay on The Scarlet Letter... I wasn't to blame, I mean after that "Evening Hawk" poem, I was entirely distraught.

BUT, I got a 5.. so all was well, I suppose :-)
