Who's ready? I know I'm not, I've taken an AP exam Monday, yesterday, and today.

I value my tests on Monday over the lit exam. I’m not ready and I’m not studying.

Using the above - let’s figure out some scores. MC represents the amount of correct answers and is under the assumption that you were incorrect for the others. X, Y, Z represent the score for the essays, respectively.

(MC) + (X, Y, Z) = COMP

(50) + (6, 6, 6) = 116 (5)
(40) + (6, 6, 6) = 100 (4)
(30) + (6, 6, 6) = 85 (3)

(50) + (7, 7, 7) = 125 (5)
(40) + (7, 7, 7) = 109 (5)
(30) + (7, 7, 7) = 94 (4)

(50) + (8, 8, 8) = 135 (5)
(40) + (8, 8, 8) = 118 (5)
(30) + (8, 8, 8) = 103 (4)

I’m crossing my fingers for a 4. Haven’t done nearly as much prep with essays as I did last year for Language (and I got a 5 on that one). I only need a 4 for my school anyhow to get 2 Lit class credits and double the comp credit. Best of luck, folks!

Not ready–haven’t studied at all.

Not ready at all! We’ve done virtually nothing in class that pertains to the actual exam, and my teacher decided to teach it on her definition of a college class, so we spent half the year examining 16th to 18th century plays that have no relevance to this exam (yeah…).

@Monoclide- Thanks for calculating that out. :]

I AM FAILING THIS SOOOO BADLY. Its going to be pretty bad. English is my worst subject and I’m not prepared at all.
Hoping for the best.

so how’d it go?

It was easy! Much easier than Calc, which I probably failed, and easier than Gov. English is my strong point and the MC was easy, essays medium. I feel sure about a 5. I hope everyone did well, because it’s pretty easy to get a 5.

i felt it was fairly easy too… although that worries me bc then the curve will be smaller… does that mean it will actually be harder to get a 5?

I kinda regret not looking up the names in Things Fall Apart before the test.
