<p>I think I got around a 70% (adjusting for raw scores and the 45%/55% weights between the MC and the essays). Does anyone have a guess as to what that would be on a 1-5 scale?</p>
<p>I'm just happy since it's been the best test so far for me. The reading was actually INTERESTING (thank you College Board! FOR ONCE!) and the written I could completely relate to.</p>
<p>FR 1 - Understood the poem and the two different tones portrayed in each.
FR 2 - Had a good argument about the time period and the author's intent
FR 3 - Thank you Wuthering Heights! I even quoted parts I could recall.</p>
<p>I wrote the third on The Awakening anyway, haha. It didn't say I couldn't...</p>
<p>I wrote the free response question on The Trial and the character being Joseph K. The test was actually easier that what I anticipated, but still the MC was difficult for me.</p>

<p>I don't know... I thought the MC was cake, but I thought the MC for lang last year was easy, too. However, the essays this year were just NOT easy for me to write. I don't know, I've been struggling with my writing lately. Those essays weren't even close to my best writing. Idk. This sucks. I'm hoping for like a 5/6/6 combo so that I can break the 5 threshhold(I KNOW my MC was high.) Gah. This sucks. I think I'm going to go from a 5 in language(a harder exam, by all accounts) to a 4 in lit. Eh. W/e... Last test is Tuesday, then I'm done with AP's for life. (LSAT prep here I come!)</p>
<p>Well it wasn't necessarily easy, just that it was easier than what people thought. If you looked at the questions on the course descriptions, they are damn tough! It also seems like many practice questions are harder, especially in review books and very old ap exams.</p>

<p>Is the langugae one really harder? I took that last year because I was told it was easier than literature and I would do better... then again, my guidance counselor reminds me of the one in Orange County, so I shouldn't be surprised.</p>

<p>Ha. Yeah. Lang has the least amount of people 5 of all of the AP tests. Difficulty is pretty much subjective.</p>

<p>modestmouse, we were separated at birth. i'm being optimistic on the second two essays, but essentially feel the same as you do, and i know i conquered the MC.</p>

<p>are you serious? i practiced from the barrons and averaged 35%-40%, but I'm confident i got 80%-90% MC today...</p>
<p>Meh... if a lot of people are saying the MC was easy, then I probably bombed it cause I thought it was pretty tough. I mean the passages were pretty straight forward I guess but I think I misinterpreted the first poem on the MC and I just couldn't get into a good flow. This totally sucks, because the essays were pretty easy for me, I'm sure I did really well (like 8-9) on the poetry and open ended essay and I talked about irony and such in the 2nd FR so lowest there would be a 6 (even if I misinterpreted it a bit, I supported my claims with irony devices and such). So my essays are gonna be really good but damnit I just don't feel confident on my MC. I least I picked up that the first passage was satirical...</p>
