My class just took the multiple-choice section of a diagnostic, well, previously administered AP english test and I completely bombed it. Not only was I unsure of many of my answers, but I only finished 3 out of the 4 passages in the time constraint our teacher gave us. So, my questions is, I see how someone could become better at writing essays, as most of us have through time and practice, but is there really a way to improve your critical reading skills, or is this time something that people are inherently good or bad at? If it can be improved, maybe by reading often, can you please tell me how you suggest I do so? (this is only the beginning of the year, so I have some time)
